2020 was supposed to be the year.

I moved from a small advertising agency to a global advertising firm.

I had a pay raise, access to bigger clients, experienced coworkers to learn from, and offices all over the world...

Then COVID struck. And 4 months into my new role, I got fired.

This happened back in May 2020, but the firing was scheduled for July 31st. Two months was all I had to prepare for the future.

So I went back to the drawing board. Time to make a decision.

Could I use this time to relax, upgrade my CV, and look for a new job? Or do I try to build something on my own?

You are reading this because I chose the latter. And the journey, as you may have guessed by now, started with Twitter.

I posted my first tweet in June 2020. Since then, my life has changed dramatically.

I found a place where I could learn for FREE from the best in the industry.

I found out that people were listening to what I had to say.

I found out there was a new career for me, one that only I control.

And 9500 tweets later, here we are: +9M impressions on my content and projects, over 7k$ on product sales and I have a self-sustaining freelance business.
